When speaking of a Rehab Expert, we are talking about an experienced addiction referral counsellor. It refers to a person who has years of experience in substance abuse and recovery treatments. One who works with people struggling with various addictions. Whatever the dependency is on street drugs, medication, alcohol or gambling.
We aim to help families find the most suitable private facility or guide them in the best way we can to public-access treatments. We work closely with the family to locate the right facility. Our service is free of charge, confidential, and friendly. Our philosophy is that, as individuals, not all programs fit all, so a program must adapt to one’s needs.
Two co-founders, Carole Pelland and Marc Bernard, established this referral company in 2013. Since that time, we have helped countless families and people with addictions each year.
One of the co-founders and Senior Administrator. With a background in the Humanities and training as a case manager in the United States, Marc has been professionally active in substance abuse since 1998.
For eight years, he held a Case Manager and Senior Manager of Operations position in a Canadian private treatment center. He successfully managed more than a thousand cases throughout the years. In 2006, he became the
Executive Director of that center and held the position until 2012.
He struggled with addiction as a teenager and a young adult. Applying what he learned about addiction and life and understanding its mechanism, he was able to overcome addiction and live a drug-free life. Since then, he is passionate about helping those in need.
Susan Chubbs worked in Healthcare as a Personal Care attendant for the elderly for over two decades in different areas of the globe. She thought, “I can help the elderly by making their passing dignified and respectful.”
Going through her own struggles with addiction for more than three decades, she found help and switched her career to the field of addiction. She realized then that she could prepare people to live life instead of preparing them to die.
She trained as a Drug-free Withdrawal Specialist and delivered and helped many hundreds through their withdrawal symptoms. She then wanted more and trained to be a Rehabilitation Supervisor to oversee the program. She liaised with the Health and Justice system and made sure that each and every individual’s needs were taken care of so they could go through their program successfully. In 2007, she became the Senior Manager of Operations, ensuring the ethical and technical standards were maintained in the centre and services lines.
She became a licensed Drug & Alcohol Treatment Specialist and dedicated her life to helping others to get control back into their lives.

She held different functions during that time. One was as webmaster and marketing from 2001 to 2004.
Carole had the Director of Support Services position, which entailed servicing the clientele, ensuring they got medical appointments and personal needs when needed, and being responsible for recreational activities. She was a Qualification Supervisor for several years, ensuring the program’s quality standards.
Carole also held a position in administration in charge of the personnel and the Ethics department.
She is one of the two co-founders of ARC Services. With her knowledge of the Internet, Carole took on the responsibility of making our services known over the Internet to help as many families as possible.
She has worked in substance abuse as a Case Manager and Interventionist for more than eight years.
She is compassionate and caring. Her philosophy in addiction is to “help individuals develop a deep love and respect for themselves and others by communicating and sharing ideas.” As a case manager, she knows that no two individuals are the same, so her programs are geared toward the individual’s needs.
Also, most families lack knowledge on how to get a loved one to recognize that treatment is a necessary step. Janice Demers is certified in 5 different fields, including drug intervention.
She offers her addiction intervention services to families and has helped many find solutions for a drug-free life. She also runs her own drug rehab center in British Columbia.
It takes patience and determination to get a substance abuser to shift their perspective. Hundreds of successful interventions done and closed prove her ability in the field.
It does not mean that all interventions are successful. A person may be simply too embedded in their own chemical stubbornness. With time and a proper plan-B, they too usually come around and accept the help offered.
